Postponed or Rescheduled Events

Modified on Tue, 16 Jun at 9:49 AM

Whether your event is postponed or rescheduled, your tickets will typically remain valid for the updated event date.

Your Tickets Remain Valid

In most cases, there is nothing you need to do.

Whether an event is postponed or rescheduled, your original tickets will generally be honored for the new event date. Simply hold on to your tickets and wait for further updates.

As new information becomes available, Ticket Squeeze will provide updates regarding your event whenever possible.

What's the Difference Between Postponed and Rescheduled?

Postponed means the event will no longer take place on the originally scheduled date, but a new date has not yet been announced.

Rescheduled means the event organizer has officially announced a new date and time for the event.

If your event has been postponed, we'll provide updates as soon as a new date is confirmed or if there are any additional changes. We also recommend monitoring the venue's website and official event communications for the latest information.

Will I Need New Tickets?

Usually not.

Most postponed or rescheduled events continue to honor the original tickets.

If the event organizer requires new tickets to be issued, we'll make sure you receive updated tickets before the event.

I Think My Event Was Rescheduled, But I Haven't Heard Anything

It's possible the change has not yet been officially confirmed by the venue, event organizer, or ticket provider.

If you believe your event has been postponed or rescheduled and haven't received an update, please contact us and we'll be happy to review the event status for you.

Are Refunds Available?

Refunds are generally not available for events that are postponed or rescheduled because your tickets remain valid for the new event date.

Your original purchase still grants you admission once the event takes place.

What If I Can't Attend the New Date?

We understand that changes to an event schedule can be frustrating, especially if you've already made travel plans or arranged time off.

Event dates are determined by the venue, artist, team, promoter, or event organizer. Ticket Squeeze does not control whether an event is postponed, rescheduled, or canceled.

If you're unable to attend the new date, you may wish to:

  • Transfer your tickets to a friend or family member, if permitted by the ticket provider
  • Explore third-party resale options, where available
  • Review any event protection or insurance coverage you may have purchased
