How Do I Save My Mobile Tickets?

Modified on Tue, 16 Jun at 9:50 AM

The process depends on how your tickets were delivered. Some tickets arrive as mobile PDF files, while others are delivered through a ticketing platform such as Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, or another provider.

This guide will help you determine the best way to save and access your tickets.

If You Received a Mobile PDF Ticket

Some tickets are delivered as PDF attachments directly by email.

You can save these tickets by:

  • Downloading the PDF to your device
  • Saving the file in your phone's Files app
  • Storing the file in cloud storage such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or Dropbox

Before event day, open the file and confirm that:

  • The barcode or QR code is fully visible
  • The file loads correctly
  • All pages of the ticket are available

Important: If the barcode or QR code is cut off, damaged, or incomplete, it may not scan properly at the venue.

If Your Tickets Were Transferred Through a Ticketing Platform

Tickets delivered through platforms such as:

  • Ticketmaster
  • AXS
  • SeatGeek
  • MyProVenue
  • Paciolan
  • MLB Ballpark
  • Team Apps

may not be downloadable as traditional PDF files.

Instead:

  1. Sign in using the same email address associated with the ticket transfer
  2. Open the ticketing app or website
  3. Locate your tickets

If available, select:

  • Add to Apple Wallet
  • Add to Google Wallet

Saving tickets to your mobile wallet is often the easiest and most reliable option.

What If There Is No Wallet Option?

Don't worry.

Many ticketing platforms allow tickets to be scanned directly from their app or mobile website.

As long as your tickets are visible in the account where they were delivered, they can typically be used for entry without being added to a digital wallet.

Why Can't I See My Barcode Yet?

Some platforms intentionally delay barcode visibility until closer to the event.

This is common with:

  • Ticketmaster SafeTix
  • AXS Mobile ID
  • Certain venue-managed ticketing systems

If your tickets appear in your account but the barcode isn't visible yet, this is usually normal and does not indicate a problem with your order.

Helpful Tips for Event Day

Open Your Tickets Before Arriving

Venue entrances often have limited Wi-Fi and cellular service.

Open your tickets or mobile wallet before reaching the gate whenever possible.

Charge Your Phone

Mobile tickets require a working device for entry. Make sure your phone is adequately charged before leaving for the event.

Use the Same Device

If possible, accept, save, and present your tickets using the same mobile device.

Don't Print Mobile Tickets Unless Directed

Many mobile-only tickets cannot be printed and must be displayed on a smartphone for entry.

Only print your tickets if the ticket delivery specifically states that printed tickets are accepted.
