How Do I Access My Mobile Tickets?

Modified on Tue, 16 Jun at 9:50 AM

Mobile tickets are designed to be displayed and scanned directly from your smartphone and are the most common ticket delivery method used today.

Depending on the event, your tickets may be delivered as either a Mobile PDF or a Mobile Transfer.

Mobile PDF Tickets

Some mobile tickets are delivered as PDF files attached to an email or made available through a download link.

How to Access Mobile PDF Tickets

  1. Open the delivery email
  2. Download the PDF attachment or file
  3. Open the ticket on your smartphone
  4. Present the barcode or QR code at the venue for scanning

Important Notes

  • You do not need to print Mobile PDF tickets unless specifically instructed by the venue
  • Make sure the entire barcode or QR code is visible on your screen
  • Save the file to your phone before arriving at the event

Mobile Transfer Tickets

Many events use secure ticketing platforms that require tickets to be accepted through a third-party app or website.

Common platforms include:

How to Access Mobile Transfer Tickets

  1. Open the transfer email you receive
  2. Follow the instructions to accept the tickets
  3. Sign in or create an account if required
  4. Use the same email address associated with your order whenever possible
  5. Access your tickets through the ticketing platform's app or website

Once accepted, your tickets will typically appear under My Tickets, My Events, or a similar section.

When Will I Receive My Tickets?

Once your tickets are available, you'll receive a delivery email containing instructions specific to your ticket type.

Be sure to:

  • Monitor your inbox for updates
  • Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders
  • Follow any delivery instructions carefully
  • Download any required apps before event day

Why Can't I See My Barcode Yet?

Some ticketing platforms intentionally delay barcode visibility until closer to the event.

This is common with:

  • Ticketmaster SafeTix
  • AXS Mobile ID
  • Certain venue-managed ticketing systems

As long as your tickets appear in your account, this is generally normal and does not indicate a problem with your order.

Helpful Tips for Event Day

Add Tickets to Your Mobile Wallet

If available, save your tickets to:

  • Apple Wallet
  • Google Wallet

This can make entry faster and more reliable.

Charge Your Phone

Your tickets will need to be displayed from your device, so be sure your phone is charged before arriving.

Increase Screen Brightness

A brighter screen makes barcodes and QR codes easier for venue scanners to read.

Open Your Tickets Before Reaching the Gate

Cellular service and Wi-Fi can be limited near venue entrances. Access your tickets before you arrive at the gate whenever possible.
